Khenpo Appey

Khenpo Appey (1927–2010), one of the foremost masters of the Sakya school in recent times, was a student of Jamyang Khyentse Chökyi Lodrö and tutor to Sogyal Rinpoche and Dzongsar Khyentse Rinpoche. In 2001, he established the International Buddhist Academy in Kathmandu.
